Overnight in Negombo
After arriving at the airport and freshening up, spend the first day exploring Negombo’s iconic St. Mary and Katuwapitiya churches. These churches are very special because of their special characteristics and the uniqueness of their history, which leads us to beautiful historical stories. And the overnight stay is assigned in Negombo, with the true taste of Negombo lagoons.
Day 02
Negombo – Anuradhapura

Visit Thalawila church
Overnight in Anuradhapura
After having a blissful night in the lagoons of Negombo, the second day is routed to Thalawila Church (122km/3 hrs from Negombo) in Puttalam, en route to Anuradhapura.
No matter what religion you follow, St. Anne’s Church in Thalawila is one of the most ancient and wonderful of all the Christian shrines in Sri Lanka. Founded in the epicenter of tradition and holiness, thousands of pilgrims flock during the Christmas season and in March and August to this amazing place of solitude and solace. Talawila Beach is easy to access with the roads in good condition and offers some stunning views of the sea in peace.
Day 03
Anuradhapura – Mannar – Anuradhpura

Visit Madhu church
Overnight in Anuradhapura
Staying the night in War Heritages at Anuradhapura and waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the tall stupas in Anuradhapura, followed by having breakfast, you are routed to visit Madhu Church, which carries a heavy name as The Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu or Our Lady of The Rosary of Madhu, is a Roman Catholic Marian shrine in the Mannar district of Sri Lanka. With a history of over 400 years, this shrine acts as a center for pilgrimage and worship for Sri Lankan Catholics. The site is considered the holiest Catholic shrine on the island and is a well-known place of devotion for both Tamil and Sinhalese Catholics. The church has been a symbol of unity not just between Tamils and Sinhalese but also between people of different religions, including Buddhists, Hindus, and Protestants. Then back to the hotel at Anuradhapura for the third day’s stay.
Day 04
Anuradhpura – Colombo

Thewatta church and St. Anthonys church Colombo
Overnight in Colobmo
By staying the last two nights at Anuradhapura, we make our way back to Colombo by visiting Thewatta Church and St. Anthony’s Church in Colombo at the end of the tour. and the overnight stay in Colombo before departure.

Colombo – APT
