Pasikuda

Pasikuda Beach, with its soft white sand and translucent water. Between May and September, this is the best place in Sri Lanka for a Sri Lankan beach holiday. Most days are clear, the ocean is warm, and the water clarity is very good, making it ideal for snorkeling, diving, sailing, and many other water sports. The curve of Pasikuda Bay means that swimming can be enjoyed all year round.

Pasikuda is a relatively new destination in Sri Lanka for luxury beach holidays and the resorts that border Pasikuda. Even among locals, the destination is popular with swimmers. There are no dangerous currents or sudden drops for quite a distance, so it is excellent for a family dip. The bay curves in such a way as to ensure that the waters remain calm.
