At the end of Weligama beach is where you’ll find Weligama Bay. Weligama is a native term that translates to “sandy settlement,” which makes sense. It is a stunning sandy beach and the ideal location for surfing. It’s a serene setting where you may relax on the grass and take in the gentle wind. You may also bring your kids to swim in the shallow waters. 

People visit this beach early in the morning or late at night to photograph the lovely image formed by the clear sea, white sand beach, the residents, and palm trees, in addition to swimming and surfing. This area’s Taprobane Island is also well-known. A resort may be found on the little island.
